 I have been busy painting, working on a series inspired by a sketching trip to the downtown market. The first one was done after attending a workshop about different approaches to consider when using photographs as inspiration. The second was completed using a small portion of the first as inspiration.

I have been unable to sketch for several days for a variety of good reasons but have happily returned today. I went sketching at the market again with a friend and did this pen study.
